The Palm Beach County Library System is proud to announce that the Wellington Branch will reopen tomorrow, November 9 at 10:00 am. The branch closed in late December 2020 for renovations and chiller replacement. The building has been reconfigured to create an enhanced user experience with brighter LED lighting, bar top seating, independent work stations, an additional study room, new flooring and vibrant color scheme.
Members can sign up for Families Reading Together online via pbclibrary.readsquared.com or on the READsquared app. READsquared offers our members the chance to earn points by reading or completing missions.
How long do you think it takes to write a novel? A year? Five years? How about 30 days? Participate in this create writing challenge; the first draft of a novel that's at least 50,000 words, in one month. You start on November 01 and end on November 30. It's that simple. After that, you're free to work on revisions for as long as you want. Put that story on the page!

The Library will once again be partnering with the Palm Beach County Food Bank to offer assistance with SNAP benefits. Benefits specialists from the PBC Food Bank will assist with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application process and conduct the food stamp interview.
